Adobe Illustrator: Photoshop session 1

During todays session we looked at making a mood board using Adobe illustrator. We collected imaged related to our theme (our groups theme is The Mad Hatter's hat making workshop) from google using the advanced search option, making sure the images were large enough to fit to an A3 scale so that they didn't become pixelated. We then inserted these into photoshop using the snipping tool and the move tool to edit layers to create an overlapping visual of our Alice in Wonderland idea. I felt this idea worked well however one problem encountered when snipping the photos was that you could not recover the excess photo and therefore you had to make sure it was accurate first time when placing it onto the A3 canvas. I used around 20 images in the end.

I would recommend this software to future users when making mood boards/visuals as you can edit and manipulate images and layers however I would highlight that there are several ways to do one function and that there isn't necessarily a right or wrong way. I am looking forward to experimenting with Adobe photoshop in the future and to use throughout the research stage on my next project.
