The ideas and installation concept I decided to research further and create a mood board on was when 'Alice ate the Eat Me biscuit and out-grew The White Rabbit's House'.
Above you can see a disproportional room that plays on scale filled with the White Rabbits belongings and a giant version of Alice. I took inspiration from multiple sources including Disney's take on Alice in Wonderland along with original sketches and illustrations. I wanted to focus on the colour themes of the brown woods and pops of pink to illustrate the White Rabbits personality. I feel this would appeal captivating to the younger target audience of this project along with family of all ages.
Below are other mood boards explored by other group members along with the collective mood board of The Mad Hatter's hat making workshop.
Moving on, it was decided during a group meeting with Helen Davies that the Mad Hatter concept would be the most practical and experimental for the brief and therefore we decided as a group that we would further this idea and research looking into workshop styles and going onto create concept designs.
